When Speed Is No Longer a Compromise

The Factor ONE is not a conventional aero road bike. It is the result of every lesson Factor has learned from years of pushing the boundaries of speed, on the track, in the wind tunnel, and in the WorldTour peloton.

This bike was not designed to follow trends. It was designed to question them. To rethink how airflow behaves around a moving rider. To support how modern racers actually position themselves. And ultimately, to make speed feel tangible on the road.

A Mission, Not a Model

The development of the Factor ONE began when UCI regulations around fork and frame dimensions were relaxed. While most brands saw incremental opportunity, Factor saw freedom, freedom to rebuild the front of a road bike without legacy constraints.

With in-house manufacturing and rapid prototyping, Factor engineers were able to iterate hundreds of designs using advanced Computational Fluid Dynamics before validating them in the wind tunnel and on the road. The result is not an experiment, but a fully race-proven platform that won at the Critérium du Dauphiné in prototype form.

Front-End Aerodynamics, Rewritten

At the heart of the ONE is its radical front-end architecture. The bayonet fork and forward-projected chin fairing were designed to control what happens after airflow leaves the front tyre — an area traditionally ignored in road bike design.

By managing tyre spillover turbulence and keeping airflow attached deep into crosswinds, the ONE sustains aerodynamic efficiency beyond 15° of yaw, where many aero bikes begin to lose stability. This isn’t just about lower drag numbers — it’s about holding speed when conditions are unpredictable.

Geometry for the Modern Rider

Aerodynamics alone do not make a fast bike. Modern riders use narrower bars, shorter cranks, and more forward saddle positions pushing weight further over the front wheel. Without precise geometry, this leads to instability and loss of confidence.

The Factor ONE was designed specifically around this reality. By decoupling the handlebar mount from the steering axis and adjusting bottom bracket drop, Factor preserved identical steering geometry across all frame sizes. Even the smallest frames handle with the same confidence as the largest.
This is speed you don’t have to fight.

A Cockpit Built Around Fit, Not Compromise

The integrated cockpit system on the ONE eliminates traditional stem lengths entirely. Instead, sizing is built directly into the bar system, allowing riders to achieve extreme reach without the instability of overlong stems.

Multiple cockpit options and spacer configurations ensure precise fit without disrupting airflow or handling. The result is a front end that feels solid under sprint loads, stable at speed, and intuitive from the first ride.

Proven Where It Matters Most

Wind tunnel data is only meaningful when it translates to real-world performance. During testing, riders consistently reported a sensation of the bike “helping” them sustain speed, especially above 50 km/h and in crosswind conditions.

In its first unannounced race appearance, the Factor ONE delivered exactly what the data predicted: stability, speed, and confidence under pressure. This was not a debut. It was confirmation.

Who the Factor ONE Is For

The Factor ONE is not designed to please everyone. It is built for riders who understand performance, value precision, and are willing to commit to a progressive design if it delivers results.

This is a bike for racers, serious enthusiasts, and experienced cyclists who want speed that remains composed — not just impressive on paper.

The Factor ONE is more than the fastest road bike Factor has ever produced. It is the clearest expression of what happens when engineering, manufacturing freedom, and racing intent align.
