Black Inc Integrated Carbon Barstem : A Streamlined Cockpit.

The handlebars and stem make up the cockpit of your bike. Historically, they have been separate components. But in today's ever demading times where the cyclists push themselves for performance and also the aesthetics of the bike matter, the integrated cockpit has become the talk of the town.

Engineers constantly push science for better performance. This has led to the invention of an integrated handlebar and stem - barstem. Integration has become very popular in bicycle design for three main reasons. Weight reduction, aerodynamics & aesthetics.

The geometry of the integrated barstem is same as the Blackinc stem and handlebar put together. The shifters and hands will be at the same place but with a stronger and lighter junction between the bar and the stem.
