The variable geometry technology developed with the X-SyncroCam MTB chainrings is now transferred to the Carbon-Ti best seller of road bike gears. The new X-CarboCam chainring line presents a twin-cam profile that allows a quicker overcoming of the dead spots and provides a more efficient and powerful pedal stroke. The central body is made by a structural carbon fiber element which allows a considerable weight saving while maintaining the stiffness to the highest levels. The teeth are made of aerospace aluminum alloy AL7075 that ensures a remarkable precision and a superior durability. The shifting performance is outstanding thanks to a sophisticated system of ramps obtained by CNC machinings and to titanium shaped pins that allow fast and precise up-shifting and down-shifting with either mechanical or electronic derailleurs. The X-RoadCam version, completely in aluminum alloy AL7075, maintains the same exceptional mechanical characteristics of the X-CarboCam with a little more weight.
The X-RoadCam 38 x 110 (4 arms) is an asymmetric single-chaingring realized in AL7075-T6 aluminium alloy. The special variable geometry allows a quicker overcoming of the dead spots and provides a more efficient and powerful pedal stroke.
After a necessary period of adjustment you can feel a smoother and profitable pedaling.
The special teeth has been designed to work in synchrony with the outer Carbon-Ti X-CarboCam 52 x 110 (4 arms) or X-RoadCam 52 x 110 (4 arms) chainrings. It is not recommended to pair the X-RoadCam 38 x 110 (4 arms) with a different size or with products of other brands for not compromise the shifting performance.
