Designed for use with threaded cartridges, the Tacx inflator is built around a sturdy plastic head that incorporates a valve with which to control the airflow. There is then a cover that goes over the cartridge to ensure your hand doesn’t touch it, as they can freeze your paws when discharging. It comes with a non-insulated 16 g cartridge, the maximum size the holder will cover.
